To see this one-of-a-kind daylily is to know you will not see it's like elsewhere. The throat is a unique appliqué that extends far out into the petals.
A dark inky-purple eye is painted around this complex throat. Petal edges are banded in the same inky-purple and finished in serrated gold.
The self-color is made up of chevrons of pale amber.
The overlapping petals have a very round look due to the big blunt sepals which are also painted.
A fabulous parent that is both pod and pollen fertile.
