FUNNY CIDE
Tet, (seedling X seedling), evergreen. EMRe. fr. emo.
This plant is named to honor the amazing race horse FUNNY CIDE. This is a perfect garden plant and flower. Many of the eyed and edged daylilies are relatively small, but FUNNY CIDE is a very large, full, and ruffled flower. The 6½" creamy flowers have a very beautiful burgundy eye and edge. One of the remarkable triats of this flower is when it opens the sepals have a slight roll, exposing the beautiful ruffle petals. The branched scapes are 32" high bearing 22 to 24 buds. Fertile both ways.
