7.5” flower, 4-way branching, 23 buds on a 30” scape.  EM, RE, SEV.
This daylily is the best of the Tet Emerald Starburst type of breeding that I have ever seen.  The very large flowers are a saturated violet black color with a prominent cream white petal edge.  The sepals are the widest that I have seen on a Tet daylily.  When the sepals fold back the bright green color is expose not only in the throat but the sepals as well.  So many outstanding trades in one daylily makes Tavares King of Kings the best of the best in this type of breeding.  Fertile both ways.
