DARK FUTURE

6” flower, 4- way branching, 18 buds on a 31” scape EE, RE, SEV.
It has always been my goal as a Hybridizer to create daylilies that have a look that is all their own.  Dark Future is the epitome of this type of daylily.  The base color is a dark chocolate red with substance like plastic.  The eye is very dark black burgundy with a complicated cream chip flairs embedded within.  Streaks of color pierce the triangular green throat.  The sepals have the same inner green color and outer pattern.  This patterned daylily is consistent throughout its bloom season.  Dark Future is the gate way to a whole new color range in pattern daylilies.  Fertile both ways.
