It's simply amazing the way "BLUE" breading in daylilies continues to become more ornate; Azure Beauty is a perfect example of this. The very large 7" flowers are overlapped with excellent substance on strong 38" scape. The self-color is a bright clear magenta with a distinct darker blue-magenta eye that is encircled by burgundy mascara.
The throat is waxy and a nearly luminescent green. The large ruffled edge is comprised of 3 distinct bands of color: burgundy, dark blue-magenta and silver cream. These sophisticated flowers have great visual impact. Fertile both ways.
